By consideration of registers of births should pay attention to the following:

1. Whether whether on each page of registers of births in the top column year and on each page in columns about time of a birth and a christening, marriage and death is shown, month is shown.

2. If крещены the babies who were born in December of previous year, whether that in the column about birth time is shown over number of a birth December.

3. Whether numbering крещенных, брачующихся and died is correctly conducted, and whether is not present in NN erasures, amendments.

4. In columns about birth and christening time, about a bottom of marriage, about death and burial service time, whether against each event and died numbers are shown, whether lines are spent against some events in these columns only; whether is not present in figures of time of a birth, a christening and marriage and death of erasures and amendments.

5. Whether are given крещенным names which are not present in the Synod full calendar, or whether names difficult to pronounce, unusual and who from priests names such names крещенных are given to babies of the lowest classes of the people or illegitimate babies; whether names крещенных babies so are shown, how they are called in the calendar, whether call "Elizabeth" instead of "Elisaveta", "Ivan" instead of "John", "Egor" instead of "George", "з." "." Instead of "its lawful wife", etc.

6. Whether in the indication of ranks of parents and восприемников other provinces the district, a city or volost to which they belong is meant.

7. If крещен the baby of the maiden or the widow, whether that is shown that it illegitimate. Happens that I give birth the widows who have remained pregnant women after death of the husband. In what cases it is sacred - clergymen in metric record do not mean the father, show one mother, and about the baby write that it lawful, or it hold back. In which articles of registers of births there are such records, and which priest these babies крещены.

8. If крещен the baby солдатки, instead of it is told that it the widow, whether that the baby lawful is written down thus and whether her husband who is in the service is shown in record.

9. If in 1st part of the metrics joining of dissenters to church is written down, whether that is correct, whether under the form it is written down: whether years attached are shown, whose son or whose daughter attached, and whether is shown, who were witnesses of joining.

10. If крещен иноверец (the Jew, the Mohammedan, the pagan), that is whether in metric record рукоприкладство the local civil heads which is obliged to be at a christening and to make the certificate in the metrics the signature.

11. Whether it is shown at a christening of babies, in противность to the decree of the St. Synod, more than one pair восприемников, i.e., two or three steams восприемников.

12. Whether According to the form enclosed to the item volume of IX Law on conditions, metric records are conducted, whether and in records of parents and восприемников there are no rank admissions, either names, or patronymics, or surnames of parents and восприемников.

13. In 2nd part of metrics the rank, a name, a patronymic and a surname брачующихся is shown, whether and also at each of брачующихся in the subject column their age (years) is shown; whether the rank, names, patronymics of a surname of guarantors are shown; whether there are no in records as брачующихся, and guarantors of admissions of ranks, either names, or patronymics or surnames.

14. Whether at each marriage it is shown not less than two guarantors after the groom and two guarantors оп to the bride.

15. In 3rd part of the metrics: if are read the burial service in January died in December of previous year, whether that in the column of day of death month is shown December.

16. Died from прилипчивых illnesses: a smallpox, measles, a scarlet fever, a diphtheria, whether typhus is buried through two, three days, and opposite died of ordinary illnesses, in particular from sorts, the very next day after death.

17. Whether at everyone died the rank, a name, a patronymic and a surname of parents are shown, and whether there are no admissions.

18. Whether against each died the age and an illness sort of which who has died is shown; whether there are no admissions.

19. Whether against everyone died at the age of 7 years also is more senior it is shown, what priest addressed, whether also рукою priests do by the this signature, or date becomes писцом.

20. Whether against died suddenly or насильственною by death it is shown in the subject chapter that burial is made under the relation of such police place or the person of judicial department, and whether month, number and N papers are specified.

21. Whether in last column it is shown, who is buried, whether on a parish cemetery, or on a rural cemetery, or in a church fencing.

22. Whether good ink писаны metrics. Whether accurately letters vowels and consonants are written. In the text of records of a christening, whether marriages and burials are not present erasures, amendments, inserts between lines, and whether these erasures, amendments, inserts, either after record of event or under a result in the end of a month are stipulated, or not stipulated; whether it is accurate and it is clear писаны letters vowels and consonants in the indication of names, patronymics and especially surnames; whether from an illegibility of the image of letters it is represented to possibility to read a name or a surname and and differently: "Симон" "Simeon", "Zhdanov" "Zhdalov", "Jurkovsky" "Jurlovsky" and so forth

23. Whether each article of the register of births in 1st, 2nd and 3 it parts is signed by all made a christening, marriage and burial is sacred - tserkovno-attendants or not all; if not everything by whom exactly articles of metric records are not signed, under сколькими events there are no signatures from which and on which time, whether and in the end of the metrics the explanation about the reason неподписи these or those members причта is made.

24. Whether under each month in all three parts of the metrics are summed up the events which were in this or that month, whether whether in results in words and then by figures the quantity of events is shown and under results all is sacred-clergymen the signature is made.

25. It is enclosed silt to the metrics the sheet or an extract, whether under the given form, and whether this is signed the sheet is sacred-clergymen.

26. Whether in the end the signature is made that the list from the metrics behind the general signing причта is left at church for storage in church archive.

27. Whether is in metrics in all three parts of the signature decent for each half of year about survey of metrics by them; if in the signature of the decent the number in which it testified books is shown, whether that after the certificate decent is written down events of a birth, marriage and burial which have been earlier testified by the decent.

The instruction given by the Perm diocesan heads to local clergy, is printed in the Mogilyov diocesan sheets in 1885. It is reprinted by the Vladimir diocesan sheets in 1898.
